Boat trip from Thieu to the upper level of the Inclined Plane of Ronquières and back to Thieu.
Our new boat trip starts and ends in Thieu (see below). We navigate from Thieu to the impressive boat lift of Strépy-Thieu where our ship will be lifted in a huge watercontainer. An unusual experience.
We continu to Houdeng-Goegnies where the tour guide will walk with you to the historical hydraulic elevator nr 1 (Unesco heritage). We re-embark and navigate towards the Inclined Plane.
You will get a spectacular view over the Inclined Plane of Ronquières from the upper level of the construction. But we will not be able to descend it.
After our stop in Ronquières we rejoin the captain and his crew and we sail back to our starting location. We will pass the elevator of Strépy-Thieu for a second time.

Shared meals that require special equipment (cool box, large packaging, plate and cutlery) are not allowed on board.
Bringing your own sandwich is allowed. Beverage must be purchased on board.
Our ships
The Rivertours ships can welcome 30 to 300 guests for an event, a party, an excursion,... Each ship has its own atmosphere, setting and décor and is equipped with a bar, as well as audio and multimedia equipment. We set out from various embarkation points, with or without catering.
